Submitted

Today our Foster Application was officially submitted to our County.  My husband and I both work for this county so we will have to be licensed by another County.  It may come as a surprise to you but I am not a patient person.  Working in IT I am used to changes happening quickly.  When you are dealing with government you have to remember that things go at a slower pace.  I am going to try to be patient and wait for this to happen at it's own pace.

The application, back ground, home study, orientations, training period to become a Foster Parent can take up to 3-4 months.  This is probably a good thing as "good things come to those that wait".  This will also give me time to get things in order.  I have a room to clean out and set up.  I have an office and bathroom to clean.  This will also give me time to mentally digest all of this.
